ESKOM TENDERS
Eskom will soon issue tenders worth more than R500m to contractors for installing energy-saving equipment in homes across the country. Contractors, whose accounts will be settled by Eskom, will at the request of homeowners, install time switches for geysers, energy-saving showerheads and in some cases energy-saving light bulbs, all to the value of up to R2 000 per house.
