Tinus Havinga is the principal partner of PSG Konsult Midlands, which forms part of the financial services group PSG Konsult. Together with his wife Ann they are also partners in PSG Konsult Nhluvuku, a company specialising in corporate medical aid, retirement funding and group benefit solutions. Tinus’s experience in the medical aid and insurance related industry spans more than 30 years. He is a member of the Financial Intermediaries Association (FIA) and the Financial Planning Institute (FPI).

Tinus is a trustee of the Wildlands Conservation Trust, a biodiversity conservation organisation working at the interface between conservation and sustainable development. The Trust works closely with Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and other leading conservation NGO’s.

Both Tinus and Ann are keen mountain bike enthusiasts and continuously seek opportunities to explore South Africa on mountain bikes. He believes that mountain biking not only keeps you fit and in shape but it is also a great stress buster.

Prior to the merger of the three chambers that constituted the PCB in 2002, he served on the Executive Council of the former PCCI and the National Executive Committee of the AHI. He was a founder-director of the PCB.
