Kevin is the MD of Xcelerate Outsourcing (Pty) Ltd; a local company which specializes in call centres and business process outsourcing (BPO).

He is also a member of NDC Credit Management cc, a local business established in 1994, as well as a director of Chaplin, Beekrum & Ngwenya (Pty) Ltd, a Durban based company operating since 2004. Both companies specialise in credit management, debt recovery and call centre outsourcing for municipalities, corporate retailers, financial institutions and SMME clients.

He is a member of: The IOD (Institute of Directors), ICM (Institute of Credit Management), BPeSA (Business Process enabling South Africa) and ADRA (Association of Debt Recovery Agents of SA). Kevin has served on various business organisations over the past 10 years and is keen to work with other stakeholders to develop Pietermaritzburg as a competitive BPO and call centre destination.

He currently serves as the Chamber’s Treasurer and also represents the PCB on the Signs and Elevations Committee of the Msunduzi Municipality.

Kevin has a Business Management Degree, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, both from UKZN. He is married with 2 children.
