As marketers we are required to fulfil a number of roles. As much as we have different hats for different occasions in our personal lives, as marketers we need to know which hat, or hats, are required at what times and in which situations. Gone are the days where the marketing department is a separate entity within the organisation.
Marketing, with all its many functions, is considered the life blood of many companies today, driving numerous strategies including, awareness, engagement, retention, profitability and many more.
Therefore marketers can no longer wear a generic ‘marketing’ hat. So what are the ‘other’ hats marketers need?
