Tinus Havinga is Managing Director of the HBF Group, Medical Aid and Employee Consultants. He is Deputy President of the PCB and serves as a Director of the Business Support Centre.

Tinus’s experience in the medical aid and insurance related industry spans more than 30 years and the company specialises in corporate and individual medical aid and retirement funding. He is a keen cyclist, both on the road and off, and believes that exercise is a great stress buster. He is a past Chairman of the Midlands Region of the Insurance Broker Council.

Prior to the merger of the three chambers that constituted the PCB in 2002, he served on the Executive Council of the former PCCI and the National Executive Committee of the AHI. He was a founder-director of the PCB.
