Raj Seeparsad is among the most experienced and well-respected Human Resource practitioners in the Maritzburg area. He has been with TDM (Pty) Ltd, a family business with a staff complement of about 900 workers, for almost twenty five years. He founded the company’s HR department and continues to run it all these years later, and with no less enthusiasm than at the start.

Seeparsad has diplomas in Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Human Relations and Labour Law and chairs the PCB’s HR Forum as well as its monthly Employer Contact Group. He is the provincial chair of the IPM on whose national Board he sits as Vice President. He is also a member of the Black Management Forum and a member of the Board of the Business Support Centre in Pietermaritzburg.

As if his long service to both his employer and the Pietermaritzburg Chamber is not demanding enough, he chairs a secondary school Governing Body and sits as a committee member of several other community organisations.
